Buying domains

Be very wary when buying a domain and deploying something linked to your personal name. I created a website to compare grocery prices and even though I shut it down over a year ago, it's forever retained on the Wayback Machine with ties to me. I can never give up that domain, as there's a risk someone can purchase and use it to impersonate me, host malicious content, or use my reputation for their gain. So now I'm stuck paying A$15 per year indefinitely.
